I think now is the time for CIF to create a D league of bottom feeder programs. Blair, Keppel, Marshall, SG, Bassett, Pioneer, and so on.

Anyone with Anonymous as their title shouldn’t be allowed to post. At least come up with something cool or quirky in your attempt blast a coach, player or school.
Hey idiots…. this is some troll from Arroyo high school fanning the flames here. South do you really need to defend yourselves from such garbage? If so then you probably deserve these comments! A blind man can see you guys are on the right path. We love the underdogs until they ain’t underdogs anymore, then we gotta tear them down. 11-2 is a pretty damn good season and your best players are back. Enjoy it. dont let trolls from Arroyo knock you down… this should tell you something, psss you guys are in their heads! Frank Gallardo, I don’t know you and I hope you’re not lending credence to these bloggers aka no lifes. But if you do read this, Keep up what you’re doing you’re on the right track buddy. P.s Jerry Urias would be a home run, triple double and a hat trick all rolled into one for you guys. Good luck this season.

South and Arroyo are both going to jump at least 1 division, more likely 2 for south and 3 for arroyo so to expect a playoff run now that the opponents will be much tougher may be asking a little too much.

SEM had a chance to hire Jerry Urias? You better take that mulligan if you can. Jerry is one of those guys you do not pass on. SEM is doing some good things Jerry would vault the Eagles to the top

90% of the teams y’all played had losing records. Put some real teams on the schedule and y’all would get smacked around. Any other team with that schedule would have rolled all season.

South El Monte couldn’t be in better shape right now. Could be like EM and Marshall with no head coaches. Haha I’d take that suspect defense and powerful offense any day! Butter cheese is right, I remember playing Ibis Aguilar Eagles and they jumped all over the lions logo. Playing this team they didn’t act foolish they didn’t run the score up. You guys are pointing out flaws in the hot girl in the room. Whether you like it or not South will be at or near the top of the standing when it’s all said and done.

@freebuttercup, glad to hear you’re gonna get a new D.C. I got eyes n ears everywhere, lol. Nothing wrong with putting pressure on you to make the right decisions. I just wanna see south win!

Semi finals baby! All you haters can continue hating from the bleachers! We played 13 games this season 3 more than most of chump haters! Frank is a great head coach and has built an awesome staff! He’s doing his part jack! And he’s bringing in more talented coaches. His Defense was good enough to win 11 games only losing to a state champ and a CIF champ. I’m sure you guys have heard the rumors of him looking for a D.C. So if he realizes that what are you hating for? He is bringing in additional help. You guys hate South that much? Frank is doing it the right way, you don’t hear about his kids smoking grass or oil or stealing nas tanks or any trouble at all. His Kids don’t brag or boast there’s no me guys whatsoever, they have all bought into the one town one team motto that frank has instilled! So y’all keep up that hate work ya hear! Meanwhile we gots work do here at the swamp! Our program is turned around from those 2-8 3-7 seasons. The south had risen again! Hate on!

@@so cal, that’s a great question. After watching his defense a few times I’m not sure he or his players know what defense he runs. Everyone looks incredibly lost including him. If hes smart he’ll let someone take over, it will be a shame to see this talented class go to waste.

Frank ran the defense. If you seen any games and did not know who was running the defense, you would say that the D.C. should be fired. Mike and Will are carrying Frank or Frank would be done.

  25. March 15, 2017 - 10:56 pm | Permalink

Frank isn’t being carried by anyone. He’s a great coach on his own. He’s lucky and grateful for his staff for sure but i starts at the top.

Saying frank gallardo is trying to hire the best staff is laughable, he had a chance to hire Jerry Urias but is afraid to give up power. Escamilla is not coming back, this is a lie. Even if he was he’s no where near what they need. Frank is being carried by some good player and Mike Mooney period…

Its a shame that Los Altos has still not hired a coach. Its been more than 4 months and they have yet to hire someone. Its late decisions like this that bring programs down. You have players with no one to guide them. Football is a year round sports and sadly without a coach players tend to transfer and loose focus. Most teams are starting spring ball and preparing for the upcoming season. LA better get there stuff straight or else it will be back to the Arellanes days.

  29. March 15, 2017 - 2:23 pm | Permalink

I’d be absolutely shocked if Escamilla returned to the sidelines. Ledesma is more likely than Erik. If frank is able to pull off any of those two guys it might put them over the top. I’ve known Frank a long time there’s no ego in that guy. New he’d build a MVL power and do it through coaching. A new D.C. Probably completes that process. Good job Frank.

  30. March 15, 2017 - 2:11 pm | Permalink

Escamilla is a shocker. I was hearing ledesma was headed to the swamp to run the defense. Got to give it to Frank the man is actively trying to get the best staff in the valley.

Knowing your weaknesses is a big part of coaching. Finding a new D.C. Was a must for the Eagles. Just won’t be enough. Got two words for ya… Ernesto Camacho! The macho man himself!

  33. March 15, 2017 - 9:47 am | Permalink

Mike Mooney, Willhans Ili and now Escamilla too. South is doing all the right things. Meanwhile we at EM cant get out of our own way.

Word is Erik Escamilla is back! He will be the Defensive Coordinator for South El Monte this season. You just knew Frank Gallardo was gonna make a splash. If this is true this indeed is a splash. Gotta give it to that guy he is not sitting idly by he’s always adding new quality coaches. Weakness last season was the Defense… problem fixed! Go South Go
