1.The Dodgers won their eighth straight game beating the Giants 3-2 in 11 innings on a walk off double by Kyle Farmer in his first Major League at-bat.

2. The Los Angeles Chargers open 2017 training camp before an estimated crowd of 5,000 Sunday morning in Costa Mesa.

3. Texan Ranger Adrian Beltre became the 31st player to reach 3,000 hits Sunday with a double against the Baltimore Orioles.

4. The US Women’s National Team came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Brazil 4-3 Sunday in the Tournament of Nations.

5. Nolan Ryan became the 20th pitcher in MLB history to win 300 games on this day in 1990.

6. The Angels gave up seven runs in the bottom of the ninth to the Toronto Blue Jays and blew a 10-4 lead and lost 11-10.
