I've always been a Villanova fan!!!

Good Evening!

T-Minus-175 Days until “The Mid Valley Classic”

What happened to the big bad Big East? Was that a lowly Pac Ten school from Washington knocking out Marquette?

As for Georgetown…We’ll call it the Morales Factor… Things have just been going right for Ohio since it signed former Southman Joe Morales.

Skip Bayless is quite dim…

“Joe stop quoting Almont coaches about the realignment,” a Mid-Valley Division HC wrote to me. “What do you think they’re going to say? Sure they’re happy about it; they’ve been in a division with Charter Oak and South Hills.”

I never doubted Villanova for a second…

Here’s the amazing thing…my NCAA brackets are still perfect…When I started filling it in around 6:30 I hit correctly on every game already played.

It’s hard for someone as old as me to think of UNLV as a mid-major… I kept waiting for Gerald Paddio to pop a three at the end against Northern Iowa. Then again, Paddio didn’t hit many BIG threes as a Rebel did he?

If Temple City is floating its head coaching opening for football within the district, it would be interesting to know who the candidates might be. Considering TC is a district unto itself, with one high school. What I mean to say is there’s not a West Temple City High.

West El Monte Poly’s Skip Piccou has said that he’s not interested in going to the Home of the Camellias…

Final Add TC: The reason the Rams were not including as a semifinal option in the current Mid Valley poll is because right now without an HC they can’t be considered. However, there is talent currently on campus…We’ve heard whispers of potential coaches outside the district and like the names.

So the bold move by the Seattle Seahawks for the future was dealing draft picks to the Chargers for quarterback Charlie Whitehurst?

It’s possible by week three Pete Carroll might be longing for the glory days of Aaron Corp.

La Canada’s Dan Yoder will be live in studio next Tuesday night on “The Mid Valley Sports Show”…

The conversation at the end of last season was about expecting to see Monrovia and San Dimas face each other again in the 2010 finals. Since December we’ve learned a little bit more about Whittier Christian…and now they’re staying. But Schurr’s entrance into the division is like a bomb going off.

In the post-Elvin Dick Era the Spartans, under Ben Negrete, have gone a combined 16-6-1, this includes two playoff losses to Diamond Ranch and South Hills.

They also have a pretty quarterback named Can-Do Cantu coming back.

Yeah, Cleveland seems like a great place for troubled Oklahoma State receiver Dez Bryant… Perfect fit…

Don’t do, don’t do Mr. Holmgren.

I’m curious to know what Wilson’s Brian Zavala is thinking. He just gets out of a brutal five team Miramonte that had three playoff spots, enters the Valle Vista and a new division. However, after arriving he finds that his new seven team league has had its three guaranteed playoff spots paired to two.

Yes, I would be curious to know what he is thinking just about now.

Stay thirsty my friends…
