Lol if you really don’t know the truth about why Romi left BG then I suggest you don’t put his name in your Big Mouth… About BG not accepting players with a below average DELETED please you really don’t know DELETED..

Privates play by different rules. I can tell you some of you Schurr coaches are getting into territory you shouldn’t get into.. be careful what you wish for.

I suggest parents familiarize themselves with CIF by-law 510 regarding undue influence. Adults violate it but it is always the kid that gets hurt the most. The 13 year old kid gets flattered and sees stardom in his grasp then as often as not gets the rug pulled out from under him. Parents best tell these pimps to leave your son alone.

Whats wrong with having an 8th grader be a water boy? Have you been to a St John Bosco game or closer to home a Amat game? A lot of youth football players on the sidelines.

Rebel parent …..talk to a coach and your son can participate in pre game activities on game day and could be on the sideline to watch the game.

I’ve personally seen Schurr coaches here at the park for our boys… don’t know about you but that’s flattering! At least someone is taking interest in our boys! They work really hard! I’m thinking about sending my son there next year. We will be at the Montebello vs Schurr game on Friday. Should be a good one! Our QB is trained by one of the Schurr coaches I believe!

Ya got to love H.S, football. Where else can you watch the kids battling it out on the fields on a Friday night, and their parents battling it out on the blogs the entire 7 days a week?
Even soccer parents take a day off to get drunk……………… which is usually game day.

@Ron & SGinsider. The Rebels have opened the door to both Rosemead & SG programs.

To all BGHS followers on this blog, Cool it already! All this trash talking about one another is not necessary. Stay focused! Our kids do not need to see us parents acting like children. Lets be there for our kids. Our kids need support and encouragement. We are on the right path. Until we win a CIF championship, then we can be proud about it and brag, just a little bit though.

Who cares if MHS likes to talk trash. Thats on them. After being league champs four years in a row though, they have the right to be proud. Just a little though.

Schurr High, well they have won 2 CIF championships, one not too long ago. If things go right for them, they just may win their 3rd CIF championship. Good luck to you guys.

Except when we play you guys though. Looking forward to a good game!

@ron Coach Encinas needs to rebuild the relationship with the Rosemead rebels because most of them are going to private schools, Schurr are now with the new Rosemead coach there going there.

Jude did a good job of getting the rebels to go to San Gabriel high other coaches have not.

@ Pac 5 Scout: I respect your opinion.
Just to clarify, I’m not a coach; my work is strictly in the area of statistics and public information. I consider myself a journalist first when it comes to providing stats and reporting what happens at Alhambra’s games.
My purpose is to increase and maintain interest in our program by using a candid and factual approach.
Alhambra has not had a real newspaper for many years, and the Pasadena Star-News hasn’t paid a lot of attention to AHS football recently. Mid-Valley Sports.com appears to be the best media outlet we’ve got now.
I try to exercise good judgment about what I post, and I’ve striven to be respectful of others on these blog threads.
I believe that many of the exchanges here have been informative. In other cases, I’ve felt obligated to respond to stuff that is off base, but might be regarded as fact by others.
I consider it a privilege to represent Alhambra High School and its football program. It’s a pleasure to have this discussion with you, Pac 5 Scout.

    @BGudontknow,

One thing is for sure , your dirty whack school will not be Champs either. Zero chance!! It’s MHS or SHS. You’re playing for third place. Go make some Horchata with those Churros…..clown

Haha all you People in Montebello make me laugh. Yes we have amazing churros, ask lil Romi why he isn’t here hope he tell you the truth and tells you that the new staff doesn’t let players be on the twam with a GPA lower than 2.5 when he left BG he was below 1.5. So no one wants to come to BG well guess we have to win with local talent and not recruit like Montebello and yes Shurr. Remember Ramos was reaching out to the BG youth program this year and got shut down. So like I said we just need to play the game and if you beat us then you beat us no excuses will be given. But if we beat one or both of thw Montebello schools no excuses either. That simple but I do know that Montebello won’t be league champs this year.

You’re embarrassing Montebello… from video I’ve seen BG actually gave the ranch a game meanwhile your oilers were lucky to not get 50 dropped on em. Shutup already and get off daddy’s computer.

Bg stop commenting lol you were no where in the pre season, maybe you were crying. Schurr and Montebello will have enough to beat you next year by a touchdown or two. Alhambra will beat you this year and next year. What I’m trying to say is that your program is not good…. aka sucks

@RV: Just curious Mr. Vroman. You state you are on Alhambra football’s staff and a stipend coach. Though I know many coaches that read the MVS I do not personally know of any that post so openly about their program. I guess my thought process is that I find it odd that Alhambra’s HC hasn’t asked you to cool it because most HC’s warn players to refrain from Twitter and blogs. I respect your freedom of speech but doubt serial posting about a team and staff while having a rough season is helpful. Plenty to do to just coach up Alhambra rather than crossing swords all the time with the yahoo’s on here. IMO.

BG followers are all the same….”Wait till next year”, our sophomores this our freshman that. BG…get over it although you may have a proven coach no one wants to go to BG….only good thing in BG is the churros. Why would lil Remi end up at Schurr when his two “stud” siblings went to BG. And its
S-C-H-U-R-R not shurr. I know i know in order to receive EBT their is no need to know how to spell.
