2. The Angels acquired second baseman Ian Kinsler from the Detroit Tigers for two minor leaguers.

3. Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks, Sunday 1:00 p.m. Channel 11.

4. The Miami Marlins traded outfielder Marcell Ozuna to the St. Louis Cardinals. Ozuna hit .312 with 37 HR and 124 RBI in 2017.

5. Former middle linebacker Tommy Nobis, the first player drafted by the expansion Atlanta Falcons, passed away Wednesday at the age of 74.

6. The Denver Broncos (5-9) beat the Indianapolis Colts (3-11) 25-13 on Thursday Night Football.

7. Kevin Love and LeBron James combined for 53 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 121-112 win over the Lakers.

8. On this date in 2002 USC quarterback Carson Palmer won the Heisman Trophy.

9. Former Angels/Boston Red Sox first baseman Mo Vaughn turns 50 today.

10. USC running back Ronald Jones, who has rushed for 1,486 yards this season, has a career total of 3,555 which places him fifth on USC’s all-time list behind Charles White, Marcus Allen, Anthony Davis, and Ricky Bell. He is just ahead of O.J. Simpson, Mike Garrett and Reggie Bush.
