Bogan hire far from done deal. Medina not in mix. Appears headed for El Rancho. Young assistant from the OC is a front runner. Do not want to ID this guy because I might jinx him like the guy from two years ago. Go young Podley.

What makes people think that Podley and Bogan are buddies? I’m sure they’ve known each other for a while but I’m not sure that they’re good ol’ pals.

Given that Podley and Bogan are good buddies, lets see if Bogan is forced to keep Medina as the DC or even yet, on staff. Some things do not add up. Letting Aguilar go was a big mistake, but when admin are tied to the waist to their buddies who may have lost their touch defensively nothing good will result from that.

A shorter drive is only a good reason to quit if your an old dude and it is not a good enough reason to hire your OLD golfing pal. And he was retired anyway. This sounds like a favor to an old pal. Bonita will rethink this.

I think kids are soft everywhere right now. Even those good teams, players don’t play and act like players from just a few years ago.

Not good fit. Guy will be gone in a couple years due to age then they will have to look again.

Podley is desperate. He never won anything anywhere so he brings in an friend who always kicked his butt and in early 2000s. Both trying for championships before the sail off. Not gonna happen.

Sure bogan will win more than the last guy but the aren’t winning anything. Podley is dillusioned.

Hate to say this but should have never let medrano go. Kid/young man still has 20 years of coaching left. Bogan has 5 maybe???? At least he is closer to carpool kids to school that picking them up and driving to Pasadena.

Other coaches have tried to return go home as it were. But time takes its toll. Bonita fans do not remember this guy from Knute Rockne. The Bearcat Heisman Trophy winner could not turn this program around. Bonita players are soft right now. Good players have quit in mid-season because they do not want to get injured. Fair enough. But a young coach that understands and enforces the work ethic and loyalty to team and community is what is needed. for football. Wins and losses be damned for now. Put out a team that sticks together and plays tough 4 quarters would be a great start. Not sure a retread can instill that ethic. No offense to Bogan but he had good tools at Maranatha and fell short in a weak division.

Bogan is going back in his stomping grounds at Bonita. Maranatha and Pasadena were places he never fit in. A return to his old stomping grounds is perfect. This will be fun to watch.

Pretty funny. The carousel continues. That Bonita program is at a crossroads right now. This is perhaps it’s its class in at least a 7 years if this class doesn’t win not sure what it would take for them to turn it around. Bogan is gonna be really good there or really bad. I don’t see an in between.
