(La Puente) – Nogales Head Coach Richard Salazar has stepped down after four years. The Nobles finished 10-2 this past season and advanced to the second round of the Division 13 playoffs where they fell to Silver Valley.
Salazar, who went 24-18 overall in his four-year stint, resigned to pursue other opportunities.
He needs to go somewhere else. 5 losing seasons
It’s time he step down from Fullerton. Losing season after season
$$$ FUHSD only transfers 5 years of teaching credits on salary schedule. Maybe he wants tougher league/competition
You think? It’s all due to $$$. Most OC jobs teaching jobs that is, pay far more. Heck Ziola might end up at nogales. Godinez is great pay district. Not real glamorous with FB though.
Understandable move, but there is something special about the people at Nogales. Great family of people there.
Word is Dale Ziola is a finalist for the Godinez job. The OC seems to be peaking the interest of many Mid Valley coaches.
