1.The APU men’s baseball team and is now 24-2 after a four game sweep of Academy of Art further solidifying their position atop the NCAA Division II baseball poll.

2. LAFC has started the MLS season 2-0 and have outscored their opponents 6-1.

3. The New York Jets traded their first round (6th) pick and three second round (two this year and one next year) picks to move up to the Colts third overall pick.

4. Andrew Toles and Matt Kemp are making strong arguments on who should be the Dodger’s starting left fielder. Kemp is hitting .342 with 4 hr’s and 8 rbi’s and Toles is hitting .325 with 2 hr’s and 9 rbi’s.

5. The Chargers and former Miami Dolphin Mike Pouncey have agreed to a two-year contract.

6. Former Dodger and Scanman favorite Hee-Seop Choi turns 39 today.

7. With 10 games left in the regular season, the LA Kings at the moment are holding on to the last Wildcard spot in the Western Conference. 

8. On this day in 1972 the Lakers beat the Warriors 162-99, a then record of 63 points. The Lakers had eight in double figures lead by Gail Goodrich’s 30.

9. Former Detroit Lion and Miami Dolphin Ndamukong Suh is scheduled to meet with the Rams.

    Cantwell is in bad shape. That program is horrible.

    Cantwell probably off campus guy. No pay there. Even when Smolin was there they were average at best.
