He sure did, that’s what he’s supposed to do. He did the same thing in D1 this year. Don’t knock this kid for playing in this game and dominating. He did what he was supposed to do, if you’re better than your opponent, dominate him. Kid is an absolute beast!!!!
Maldonado looked Great Against D8 Kids and below.
Beast!
Just watched the best player in the valley bar none hands down exclamation point exclamation point
Aaron Maldanado is a beast!! Best Defensive lineman since Shaun Cody!
Lol get ready to eat your words
Exactly!!
Why not use him for both? I mean he’s got rocket for an arm and he looks like Linebacker! True dual threat.
North 42 South 21
Only a hand full of kids on the south team actually played against talent all year. The north all stars are have played against talent all year.
Why QB keep with Tapia?He has a strong and accurate arm and hits people in stride.
To Spartan Alum. I never said anything about Arroyo’s Staff.
To Knightwatch Arroyo wins because of a weak League and Division. What happened last year they get moved up 1 spot. and lose in the playoffs with Basically the same team.
It’s click bait or mentally handicapped. I’m not even gonna…need my coffee first!
you guys do know that they only get like 6 practices? right? its a little harder to coach these games than we all might think. regardless, calling the staffs good or bad is opinion made. and wow who gets off calling arroyo staff and players not good? they just won CIF ( i dont care what division) some of you guys are absolute idiots
@coach
Are you insinuating the Schurr coaches aren’t good?
Tell you what, doesn’t take a genius to know throw the ball to Babb or hand it off to Tovar. Throw the ball to Guzman or QB keep with Tapia! It’s fool proof.
@ “annoymous”
Arroyo has no good players and coaching staff is terrible(according to your posts). My goodness how do they do it? Won 75% of games in last last 25 years.
Coaching matters in every sport and every game. It helps to have good players, but if you don’t have good coaching your dead in the water.
The South look’s good because there are no weak arroyo players on The South Squad.
Boy oh boy that South Roster looks loaded! I’m hoping you guys are right about the bank coaches out working the Schurr dudes. Cz I’m rolling with north side on this one! Babb and Tovar Maldonado and Guzman!!! Yikes!!!!!
@ HTCS
Can’t say I followed Amat football but it did make you wonder what’s going on that side of the 605 … There’s hardly no news coming out of that program and if there is, its always something negative as we saw yesterday.
@pigskin fan,
Well not sure what you mean by calling out “the offensive guru” at SH, but they did score 30 points on that Burbank team without the starting QB and RB, so I would say that’s a pretty good Number to put up with backups at those critical positions. But to your point, that Burbank staff is pretty good and will school those JA coaches at Schurr.
@North
The Schurr staff can’t be that dumb to only air it out. Especially when you have the two running backs they have.
But ya neva kno!
Amat has 2 players in the game this year. They had 3 players and 2 coaches last year and 2 players in the 2016 game. I don’t know what Aram is taliking about.
Coaching a high school all-star game means about as much as getting a honorary degree from Rio Hondo J.C.
@SGV fan….just ask tustin..oh and that offensive guru at south hills how much more experience they had over Colman….and still loss
Coaching does not matter in an all star game. These guys get about 2 weeks with the kids. They’re getting a group of individuals together to try and muster up the best thing they can. No one is upset after this game win or lose. It’s not like you’re building something in an all star game.
@north side
You are saying the first year coach in Coleman is that advanced and his staff? You know that South has Ramos and company who prob have like 20 years of coaching experience? I don’t get your logic?
Aram was riding Hagerty yesterday for the lack of nominations for SVG All star game.
What you will see is a huge advantage in Coaching here. Burbank staff will clown the Schurr staff. IMO the south roster is better but you will see a better system by Burbank. The rumor is that south is trying to air it out all night long
Yes, the 10 freeway is the cut off. North of the 10, South of the 10. Football in May, can’t beat it.
Just wondering is the cut off the 10 fwy?
I don’t know how Buena Park wins one game with all that talent. The WR Cooley and DL Jones are play makers. Both will be playing on Saturdays.
Relax Dude, there are not 5 players from Mountain View. Two of those names are listed twice. Congratulations to all players participating in this game. Have fun, be safe. Enjoy.
Maldanado should dominate up front. Be very interesting to see how the Schurr staff uses all the weapons . I gotta think the South is more balanced. Tapia Tovar and Babb should be too tough to stop in this one. If South wins Tapia MVP
All the coaches are from Schurr?
From T. Peterson: Of course. They always do it that way. One school’s staff coaches the South and one staff coaches the North. All the North coaches are from Burbank. Was this a serious question?
7 players from Schurr and 5 from Mountain View??? Wth?
