  4. Brooks Koepka won the 100th PGA, his second major of 2018 by two strokes over Tiger Woods.
  5. Ganesha’s Zaquand Irby will look to improve on his 2017 season in which he rushed for 2349 yards and 31 touchdowns.
  6. Michael Phelps won his 23rd gold medal as part of the 4×100 medley relay at 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro to end his career.
  7. Thursday night at 7:00 pm at Citrus College Glendora takes on Damien to start the 2018 high school footballs season.
  8. New York Knick forward Dave DeBusschere pitched a six-hit shutout for the Chicago White Sox against the Cleveland Indians on this day in 1963.

    Carmelo is either desperate for a career boost, or else there never was a problem between him and D’Antoni. Either way, this doesn’t get the Rockets past the Warriors.
