    @ My Two Cents: Yeah, Clayton Kershaw pitched horribly in one of the four World Series games that the Dodgers lost. The bullpen ended up losing that game, but Kershaw definitely set the stage for it.
    The Houston Astros got two of their Series wins against the Dodgers’ relief pitchers, and they lit up Darvish for their other two victories.
    As for worrying about how Kershaw will do in this year’s World Series, the Dodgers probably won’t even get that far. They’ll be lucky to make it to the one-and-done National League wild-card game.

    You’re absolutely right about the diatribes that we’ve been seeing pretty regularly of late on these blog threads. I believe most people are capable of doing better. I still think that requiring all participants to use their real names would help raise the level of discussion here.

    I don’t get how anyone can blame Darvish for last year’s WS loss and not Kershaw. You can’t be supposedly the most dominating pitcher of this generation and not win a WS game when your offense put up seven runs. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter if the Dodgers make it back to the WS. With Kershaw pitching possibly 2 to 3 of those games, the Dodgers will start off the series in either an 0-2 or 1-2 deficit anyway.

    I have been 100% oppose to our POTUS’ intention to build “The Wall.” However, with some of the recent comments that I have read on MVS, I am starting to have second thoughts. You sound like MS13 and Sinaloa Cartel at war.

    And Tim, I vouch for you that you have been accused plenty of times on being an Arroyo homer.

    @Ron Vroom

    Dodgers bullpen will get the job done, what we need is consistency with our bats.

    @ Odyssey: I totally agree. It’s too bad the Dodgers allowed Darvish to pitch twice in last year’s World Series.
    At best, Darvish will be a grossly overpaid, mediocre pitcher for the Cubs. When he’s not on the disabled list, he’ll be pitching roughly half the time in the “friendly confines” of Wrigley Field. (Friendly to hitters, that is.)

    Was that Arroyo sarcasim by Jim? It’s not like his QB’ s have never added a few yards or TD’s against the helplessly. I don’t feel sorry, I promise, I will feel much better if the same results that Bonita did happens to the knights for 7 games a season for 25-30 years and the stay in Division 10 or higher. Remember Arroyo only played Bonita not Hart or Westlake.

    A quick note to welcome Jim Bonds back to the sidelines with St. Francis. According to coach, his medical treatment is going very well, and there is every reason to expect a full recovery.
    From T. Peterson: Thanks. Glad to hear. Great info and a good guy!

    Grateful the Dodgers let Yu Darvish walk that would have been a disaster.

    #6 This on the heels of games last week that were lost on successive nights by a walk off walk and a walk off balk. How can the Dodgers continually overlook their obvious pitching needs. There will be no Western Division title this year and a wild card playoff spot is looking doubtful. The really hard thing to accept is seeing the players laughing and having fun in the dug while they give up these winnable games. Roberts needs to be their boss and not their buddy.
