    @Polanco,
I see Arroyo putting up at least 60 on Schurr. Schurr never hangs with Arroyo. It’s sad to see that program taking all these hits because of internal garbage. Most schools administrations would not put up with this stuff. They need to really look in the mirror and clean house over at Schurr. Going to be a long year for them…

Arroyo always puts up points in Schurr with or with out transfers. The last two teams where the Spartans teams in quite a while and they still couldn’t hang with the Knights. Coverages are whacky lol. Someone is playing madden too much!

To bad those parents that drank the “air raid” kool aid won’t be able to say the same! we will let you know when his next gig is though, come out on support local talent bud lol.

Very true statements. You also have the type of Coach or Dad that just drives a kid away from the game when he has so much talent. Gets run down with so much potential that he just hates the game. Hates the game so much that they turn to a guitar to express their feelings. So so sad.

@henry- true that. Wait what coaches? They had home grown kids that we know but quit and didn’t want to play for those coaches. So that begs the question? How bad are the coaches and staff outside of football but personal level were kids rather quit than play football for these guys? With that being said, Vegas odds are putting the over/under at an average 54.5 points a game-against. Where’s the coaching in that?

How many points does arroyo put up this Friday against schurr? 104 points in two games that D has given up😬. It’s easy to Coach when you got talent, but a good coach shows what he is about when the cupboards are dry!

Please don’t compare this Monrovia team to any of our championship teams. Not even close!! If we were “clearly the better team” why didn’t we win then? The only other thing would be we got outcoached by an inferior team. Or, if it was penalties then we are undisciplined and again it falls on the coach! Lucky for Williams the schedule gets much easier, and should win at least 7 games this year. Not because we are good, just playing some really bad teams.

Williams talked a good game, and Comstock carried him at NV. However, Monrovia got duped for the third time in a row with coaches. Lower level number are way down too, and no talent!!

ok ok ok….The EM kid Booth is D1? wow! bro, they played a frosh team and a jv team. You guys say hes bigger than Roy? theyre the same size the kid is 5’7 with cleats on. buck 60 that equates to a snack on the D1 level. relax. hell have his chance to prove his free agent signing was worth it.
Now, As for my Eagles. Whew. Can we line up correctly please. How many Tds or big plays came when we only had 10 on the field? that’s on you coaches. SEM actually showed major improvements from a week ago but it gets lost because of silly misalignments. for example lining up 2 men to the trips side? rushing two men? players played really tough coaches stole money because they looked foolish out there. special teams are nightmare every punt is nearly blocked and our punter Beltran makes every tackle SMH. im trying to be optimistic here but you gotta prepare these kids better coaches. LETS GO. Nogales is a winnable game lets freaking get this DUB

Do you read comments? Different offense or not Barajas had 2400 yards rushing. I know this years team does not throw but the passing yards add value to Barajas. Over 3100 yards of offense is still 3100 yards.

People talking smack about Monrovia and Coach Williams are outrageous!! Yeah Monrovia had a bad start this season 0-2 is not what you want to be but that doesn’t define the whole season. Monrovia went 8-2 and ended up winning a championship in 2012, who says they couldn’t do it this year they have the talent with 3 good players Rams, Hernandez, and Carreon plus a good team around them the team just needs to gather up and regroup. Another thing the first two teams they played would put a hurting on teams you say “are better” than Monrovia, Burbank and Alta Loma are really good teams although if you were at the Alta Loma game, Monrovia was clearly the better team unfortunately penalties did not help. Not all of it’s the coaches fault as well gentlemen, Williams will rally his team around and I’m calling it they go 8-2 becoming better each week so stop hating on Monrovia or any other high school teams when we’re all grown men it’s embarrassing… I’m not even an Monrovia fan I’m an Arroyo fan and alumni I just think it’s silly…

Roy was a great player at EM his first two games his senior year he had 37 carries for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns Booth has had 17-450-8 along with 2-37-2 receiving. Great numbers from both guys and Booth is a jr Roy’s jr year he had under 700 yards on the ground the whole year.

Let’s play a little game called…Who could Monrovia beat along the 210 fwy?

•This will exclude all the teams in their league•

    Starting West

    Arcadia -Hell No haha
    Rio Hondo Prep-Maybe
    La Salle -Definitely a maybe
Pasadena-Toss up but Bulldogs have more speed so no.
    Muir-No chance
Marshall- Damn even they could beat that train wreck
    So far we’re at 1 yes and 2 maybe’s.

    Let’s head East…

Duarte- Yes and just move along.
    Azusa-No (would be close)
    Covina,CO,Northview-No,No,No
    San Dimas-Probably a No
    Glendora-No

    That’s 1 yes and a lot of No’s altogether,we have 3 yes’ and 2 maybe‘s that’s pretty bad if you’re asking me but what do y’all think?

EM is good….. for their league. The league is not good top to bottom. So what if arroyo is in Div 8. It doesn’t mean they have div 8 team….this year. Same with EM. Maybe Em has div 8 type team this year compared to the normal div 13. One thing for sure is that dbl wing doesn’t work at the higher divisions as the base offense on every play because there are more guys who can stop it. There are teams who may line up in it to throw a team off or ground and pound for a min but it’s not used at higher div for reason stated. Em got some kids to come in to run the ball and play in the secondary. Those guys are helping…a lot. EM will have it’s only “quiz” vs SM and arroyo. Period. No one will beat them unless the OV team has gotten much better since last year. Let EM have their fun this yr. They may be a 2nd round team and maybe even 3rd, yes third round team…..but when you play div 13, it is trophy for everyone. Had cif not gone to this div ratings and left it like it was, none of this conversation would be needed. I do however like the div system right now because for the kids at all levels, they get to play for a ring…no matter how good or bad the div levels are. Guess we will see if EM can get SM.

I watched the film on MaxPreps and, not to be a hater, but Booth is not D1. He’s going to be a great Back and have many accolades but a scholarship is not one of them. Barajas ran for 2400 yards and had another 700 receiving. Let’s see if this young man can match Roy. Good luck to him. Game of the year in the MVL is Arroyo vs EM.

9-3 trip to the quarterfinals and another trip to the playoffs 4-7 with five core players injured and no defense. You’re right better competition but West ran for 1900 first year and Almazon and Morris for over 2K the next year. A lot more going on there at Chino than people know.

Competition is terrible. Totally different players. Cisneros ran that same offense at Chino against better competition and did terrible. He had better players at chino as well didn’t do much. Enjoy your success, but just keep it real please. D-13 is weak. El Monte only competition will be San Marino. Booth is good, but apple and oranges when it comes to competition. D-1 domination, to D-13 is a HUGE difference.

Let’s put it in perspective: Arroyo lost to the 2nd to last place team in the Palomares, and just beat Nogales, it shows you where they belong, somewhere between the mission valley and Mountain View league. And FRIDAYKNIGHTS, stop worrying and backing Arroyo so much, you’re now the AD at Baldwin Park, worry about the Braves getting in that win column. 0-2 against El Monte and Buena Park, not a good start.

So keep watching this average 4th place 5-5 D13 school from your powerhouse Arroyo D8 office.

Okay here is the thing about Roy, he was a great back in terms of the mission valley and being a neighborhood kid, but in the bigger picture not so much i dont think he had even one offer. This kid will easily surpass him, bigger/faster/stronger. Its just not an even comparison as players like this just dont show up in this league. Almost makes you wonder if more kids might see his success in the coming years and reverse the transfer dynamic with kids choosinf to be a big fish in a small pond and become the high schools legend.

And to all you Almont guys!!!! This year right now is the true nature of the Almont! These are the kids you’d normally get without the recruiting! A city team just took Schurr to the shed! But this an even playing field now. Alhambra,BG and SG might have a shot now. But you are right now what you should always be… it hurts doesn’t it! I for one am pulling for BG SG and especially Alhambra to finish above the other two teams with out the hired hands it’s all equal!

In one word … YES! SEM is done! You lost to a freshman QB from a fourth place team. Then you get waxed by a team who’s QB has two weeks under his belt worth of practices. It’s over bro! It was over the second you’re HC decided another coach was getting too much of the credit. Cut of your nose to spite your face! It makes no sense. It’s OVER!
Look at Arroyo Solomon leaves enter Rivera, Rivera leaves insert EMC we never look that bad because we develop not only our kids but our staff as well. We don’t cut the brightest spot for ego purposes!
One thing that was strategic was Gallardo pointing out the flaws were due to the departed coaches that’s done so when admin starts asking questions he has a scape goat. Thats why Singiser is a legend and you’ll never be! by that by I just watched that EM BP game…. ehhhh all I gotta say is EM enjoy the hype while you can because I ain’t impressed!

Its not just about the stats, once you see him play it will stand out to you. He is on the level of Moore from Bishop Amat, not Tovar from South.
And i almost cant believe your lack of knowledge with that comment about putting him in the I formation to prep him for college. You clearly dont realize the Penny brothers who are in the NFL played for this same coach and ran the same offense. You must have not seen the camp posts on this website earlier this year..You also must not realize that there have historically been some of the top teams in the country running this same offense….

I would say so far your proving that you have no true football knowledge, first thinking South would be any good after dispatching their best coach and losing their workhouse, calling out Covina after they whooped you guys(but hey at least you guys scored), and now this….You seem like a nice enough guy but your out of your element here.
