High Five For Alhambra

(South Pasadena) – Alhambra had 288 total yards, including 188 on the ground in a 29-14 victory over South Pasadena Friday night on the Tigers home field.

Anthony Herrera had 16 carries for 84 yards and two touchdowns and Kody Chuang rushed 11 times for 94 yards and a score for the Moors. Noah Rodriguez was 11 of 17 for 100 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

For South Pasadena Ethan Hong ran for 70 yards on 18 carries as the Tigers rushed for 140 yards total. However Alhambra held South Pas to just 64 yards passing.

The victory was the Moors first over South Pasadena since 2010. Alhambra has started the season at 5-0 for the first time since 2005 when Gil Ruedaflores team got off to a five game winning streak.

With the defeat, South Pasadena dropped to 2-3 on the season.
