He came transferred from St.monica for basketball, and then started playing football last year.

Chip Kelly needs to recruit this kid! Along with Ganesha’s RB. These are once in a generation players. They can put UCLA back on the map!

The comments by Coach Jimmy. Is that the same coach Jimmy that was on the SEM Football staff the last 2 years ? If so that is another good football coach that was at the swamp.

Once again Spathais and staff are doing a great job. As long as kids believe in the coaches positive things happen. His staff is filled with veteran and young coaches. Having a son play for him at Bassett. Spathais and staff were not just coaches but great guys who if they saw a parent they say hi and have a conversation. Bassett players entered as young boys and some that I still see have matured into fine young men. Great job at Worman Spathais and staff

Such a great student athlete on & off the field. It’s an honor to work with this kid day in & day out. The sky’s the limit for Ike!

Very happy to see a top performer doing his thing at an under-the-radar school. At season’s end, perhaps a piece on coach Spathias would complete the picture of good people doing well at unlikely places.

Does anybody know if he is being recruited? I know it’s a weak division and teams he plays against. But still, passes the eye test. He’s a big kid, I’m sure somebody has too be interested. Anybody know?
From T. Peterson: As of yet nothing concrete. But HC Hector Spathias and the staff are “working on a few things.” I’ll keep the site updated.
