O CAt good luck in your next game, but you had better buckle up as Monrovia will face a top 4 seed in the first game of playoffs based on the maxpreps rank and your break even record.

Not sure who you lost from the 3 players ejected from the game last night, but if any were starters you will have an even harder row to hoe. You may also have a player out with a concussion that will be unable to play and another couple limped off with injuries. Your team will have some missing parts when facing a top seed. going to be a tough game to win.

Congrats to SM, may we see you guys again somehow, somewhere in the playoffs. Great game last night, I give that kid Hobbie my sincere appreciation for being a quality RB and leading his team to a great league victory. As for some of the SM fans keep supporting these guys, I would love for us to meet again in the D9 finals. As for all of the anoymous fans- 16 yrs MHS 14 SM 2

Monrovia will never go down to that level where tc is at now. Football is important at that school. I do remember tc would always be a threat to monrovia back in the day. What happened??? I saw the 2nd half of the jv mhs v. Sm game. For one they gotta kid that looks like a transfer on their squad and he looks real real good. Running back/ linebacker. The kid broke 8 tackles going into the end zone. SM faithful by all means chime in but I highly doubted that that kid grew up in San Marino!!! Monrovia or Muir maybe but not SM. Kid is wayyy too athletic. And they beat the brakes off monrovia… it was sad to watch and it looked like I was in the upside down

Ehhhh not really a high horse. But imagine if your team had a choke hold on the league for these years with very little blunders. You’d be on a high horse too. Again, we all know the rio hondo league is weak! But dominance is dominance. Yeah monrovia hasn’t really beaten anyone but who has san Marino beaten that has raised eye brows??? Go ahead i’ll wait…. yeah you can go to the calpreps stats and all that but monrovia overwhelmingly has had the better talent through the years you know this. And with EM comparison of schedules…. ehh I guess. I’m sorry old titan… but these are just facts. Tomorrow night…. you will see

Seems like after a extra big helping of RHL pudding, the cat posters are back fat and sassy as usual. They smell another league title with a break even record
Too bad the “home schooled football enhancement transfer program” has reversed itself, transfer immigration has given way to UHaul emigration. The kids leaving to Muir, St Francis, and other winning programs for their shot at a D1 or D2 college scholarship.. Just win baby!
But it is always good to sit by the fire and reminisce about years gone by and enjoy the decade of league titles and CIF championships. But just like TC, things can change dramatically.

Don’t go putting words in my mouth now. I never said that EM can hang with Montovia. But Monrovia hasn’t beaten anyone of note either and my main point is that the two schools’ schedules aren’t that disparate. You guys are on your high horse every year.

The fact that Monrovia has added another MAJOR element to its game since game 4 should leave teams very worried in the Div. 9 playoff picture. Imagine adding a QB that has thrown for more than 1678 yards in 5.5 games and has only thrown 1 int. with 20 TDs verses the first 4 games with the numbers at 300+ yards and only 2 TDs, yes it makes a BIG DIFFERENCE when you ad those states to an already tight running game. Its funny how sports writers don’t really pick up on those stats. Monrovia vs. say El Monte this year would probably be no different than Monrovia vs any other RHL team with the exception of SM We will be the team most teams don’t want to see early in the playoffs. I’m certainly am not going to predict any kind of blowout but if Monrovia gets in gear at home this Friday like I believe they will, Wildcat will win going away. If San Marino doesn’t have a passing game they willl be in BIG trouble.

You honestly believe that EM could hang with Monrovia??? That’s funny within itself. Yeah you can ride on your calpreps stats all you want but deep down you know what’s gonna happen on Friday night.

If it is true that Heritage Christian’s backup qb has had no snaps this season, that is coaching malpractice. They have won eight games on the field by a combined margin of 250 points. There is no excuse to not give everyone some playing time, especially guys you might actually need.

Again, İF that rumor is true…

Funny that you guys harp on San Marino’s strength of schedule when San Marino’s is rated higher (-3.5 vs Monrovia’s -4.0) on Maxpreps. San Marino has also played the toughest opponent between all the opponents in Northview and has the best win against El Monte too.

    Hmmmm. Funny.

I talked to a guy tonight who told me that on Sunday afternoon Heritage’s quarterback fell off a skateboard and broke his arm. They run a wing-t offense and the backup has had zero snaps and has no idea about the footwork. Said the backup is a 7-on-7 quarterback kid that throws a helluva good ball so they’re literally changing their offense to sling the ball all over the place and run a few dives. If this is true they have no chance against Maranatha this week ROFL.

I completely agree. But until monrovia makes noise in this division 9 playoffs, that’s what it has to be. But there’s been secret about weak Rio Hondo league. It’s either Monrovia or Monrovia. I’ve been wanting Monrovia to join the Pacific league. They can’t help the league they’re in. The Wildcats will return to its dominance soon enough.

Its an even sadder day when the Anonymous wonders of the world have to hang their hats on what the kittycats do. Do yourselves a favor and find out who your team is what it can do, has done and stay the course… Those Kittycats that you talk about in your sleep has stayed the course for years and gives you something to look forward to year after year, No Kittycats, no comments,

These rankings are as screwy as the placement of teams into the divisions themselves. Teams like Heritage Christian that haven’t won a playoff game in their history got moved up from Division 11 last year after getting thumped by Culver City in round one of the playoffs. It’s very strange.

If we look at the Maxpreps national and state rankings for these division 9 teams, we get the following numbers:

    1. Palm Desert 1741/151
    2. Garden Grove 2339/193
    3. San Marino 2837/225
    4. Aliso Niguel 2886/231
    5. Segerstrom 3093/244
    6. Covina 3729/284
    7. Orange 4036/300
    8. San Gorgonio 4345/317
    9. Norte Vista 4538/327
    10. Heritage Christian 5579/397

As you can see, Heritage Christian’s #2 rating in the CIF poll is open to HUGE questioning. I haven’t checked the Calpreps power ratings for these teams, but I’d suspect Heritage Christian wouldn’t be rated much higher there either.

This rankings is sketch to say the least. Who have San Marino played and beaten that we were surprised about?………
    Don’t worry i’ll wait.
The answer is nobody. Their non- league schedule has been weak as always. Monrovia will once again remind them who they are!!!! It will not be close! Monrovia has too many athletes as they always do and once again will keep the Thanos choke hold they have on the rio hondo league!!!! These are facts.
