Lebron said he heard a pop at the time of this injury, and is trying to minimize the import of the situation by claiming that the muscle is OK. Guess what? Muscles don’t making popping sounds when they stretch or tear, that’s the sound of ligament or tendon damage. It’s also true that the older you are, the longer it takes for connective tissue to heal. Remember Kobe Bryant’s Achilles tendon injury? It’s possible that here we go again, this time with a staggering monetary loss.
