  1. The Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks 121-89 Sunday to even the Second Round Eastern Conference playoff series at 2-2. 
  2. The Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-107 Sunday to even the Second Round Western Conference playoff series at 2-2.  
  3. The Atlanta Hawks won the NBA draft lottery Sunday and will have the first pick in the draft next month. 
  4. The Phoenix Suns signed former Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer to a five-year deal to be their new head coach. 
  5. The Dodgers were shutout by the San Diego Padres 4-0 Sunday and lost two out of three to the Padres in the series. 
  6. Former San Diego Padres GM A.J. Smith passed away Sunday at the age of 75. 
  7. Point Loma scored 43 runs in one day beating Concordia in a doubleheader Friday 23-9 and 20-16 to win the PacWest Baseball Tournament. 
  8. The Boston Celtics beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-93 Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in the Second Round Eastern Conference playoff series. 
  9. The Lou Farrar Memorial Charter Oak Passing Tournament is set for this Saturday May 18. 
  10. Former NBA Forward Dennis Rodman, who won five NBA titles combined with the Chicago Bulls (3) and the Detroit Pistons (2), turns 63 today.
