The official story is that Kareem is raising money for some type of inner-city sanctuary. A glance at the list of auctioned items, however, makes this event look like an estate sale, with everything being liquidated, up to—and possibly including—the gold in Cap’s teeth. The amount raised is what Lebron gets for a mere six night’s work (or injury rehab). Something about this doesn’t smell right.
