Crescenta Valley Run Ends in State Final

(Crescenta Valley) – Crescenta Valley’s run ended Tuesday night in the CIF State Division III Regional Final as the Falcons fell to La Jolla Country Day 71-43.  

Crescenta Valley lost to Colony in the Division 2A semi finals and then was selected to go to State. The Falcons then started a memorable run with a win over Bakersfield. Then they knocked off Santa Barbara 71-59 in overtime and beat Granada Hills Charter 58-57 before falling to Country Day.

The Torreys put the Falcons away early going up 22-0  and cruising the rest of the way. Country Day led 36-15 at halftime.

Despite not wining a title it was a season to remember for Crescenta Valley. The Falcons finished the season 29-6 overall.

    Colony, the school which makes sure none of its graduates ever forget how cow dung smells, has put a basketball team into the state finals with ZERO transfers. This is amazing….a real breath of fresh air.
