1. March Madness Final Four: Michigan State vs. Texas Tech; Virginia vs. Auburn.

2. The Dodgers have scored 42 runs in their first four games while going 3-1 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

3. Kentucky has agreed to a lifetime deal with head coach John Calipari. The deal is a combination of a head coaching extension and a paid role as ambassador after retirement.

4. Former Rams running back  C.J. Anderson has agreed to a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions.

5. Muir knocked Arcadia (15-1) from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 5-4 win over the Apaches Friday night.

6. La Canada is in first place in the Rio Hondo League at 6-1, one game ahead of Temple City and two games in front of San Marino. The Spartans face the Rams April 10 at Temple City and April 25 at home.

7. Sam Mercado of Nogales leads the Montview League in hitting with an average of .426. 11 of his 26 hits are doubles.

8. Jim Singiser has stepped down as the head coach at Arroyo and is considering joining Travis Brown’s staff at Los Altos.

9. In Duke’s 68-67 loss to Michigan State in the Elite Eight game, R.J. Barrett, not Zion Williamson, took the last three shots of the game for the Blue Devils.

10. In regards to number 8, Happy April Fools Day.

    I might have bit on the Singiser thing if you said Brown was quitting to Join Jim. Makes no sense that Mr. S would want to climb aboard a sinking ship.
