While I’m ecstatic over the invite of a 37-year-old female to kick a few balls, I wonder about the sinister snubbing of gender neutrals from this endeavor.
Brah, she didn’t get no offer. Fake news from the National Soy League. 2 teams offered her the chance to kick in a preseason game… as if an NFL team would pick a girl, let alone a girl SOCCER player, over any of the 130 – yes ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY – division 1 football kickers. Actually add half to that number at least because of backups, so at least 200 division 1 college kickers every year?
Oh yeah, and she’s 37.
Come on Peterson.
From T. Peterson: The story says she’s mulling multiple offers from NFL teams which means that she’s umm.. mulling multiple offers. I didn’t write the story, I quoted the story and that’s what it said. I get that you don’t like it but that’s how the story read.
C’mon man! Lighten up Francis.
“old Whitmont Guy’
you couldn’t have said it any better brotha! im picking montebello but hope schurr wins lol … oilers will be tested and ready for league… schurr is so young but very promising !
Hey ?,
Why don’t you stop ending your sentences with prepositions. While you’re at it, how about revealing your true identity.
How about a top 20 poll Peterson? Put your yourself out there. I know you might have Bonita, San Dimas, Temple City and Glendora (your faves) 1234 but what the heck. It would be fun to see where you and your staff are at.
When ALHAMBRA is the bright spot in your league, it’s time to move the deadweights into CIF’s recycle bin, the 605 league. Sad thing is, that’s where I always felt the Moors belonged.
Montebello will be 1-4 at best in preseason and compete for an Almont League championship, Bell Gardens will be 2-3 or 3-2 at best in preseason and compete for an Almont League Championship. Alhambra will be 5-0 in the preseason and compete with Schurr for 3rd place and MAYBE a playoff spot. Its not how you start its how you finish. Two coaches in the Almont League understand this and they both have a CIF championship to their name.
