1. Former Detroit Tigers legend/Hall of Fame outfielder Al Kaline passed away Monday at the age of 85.

2. MLB is focused on a plan that could allow them to start the season in May and have all 30 teams play all of the games in the Phoenix, Arizona area without fans. Also coronavirus tests would need to be available with quick turnaround times.

3. Dayton forward Obi Toppin is named the College basketball Wooden Award winner for 2020.

4. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced that no decisions will be made on the season until at least May 1st.

5. UCLA junior forward Chris Smith has declared for the NBA draft.

6. The NFL draft is still scheduled to take place April 23-25 in a virtual format with the GMs and team personnel working from home.

7. Duke freshman Cassius Stanley announced on Twitter he will declare for the NBA draft.

8. “I think the fans feel insulted and you have to take what they say into account because they are buying the merchandise. The logo is just not good. I feel bad that I couldn’t change it in anyway.” – Former Ram/Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson on the new Rams logo.

9. On this day in 1974 Atlanta Braves outfielder Hank Aaron hit his 715th career home run off of Dodger pitcher Al Downing to break Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record.

    I wouldn’t recommend virus testing during the actual baseball game, for fear that people might discover the medical procedure is more exciting than the sport.
