I love high school sports but I find the hopeful attitude of many on here that sports will return to normal by the summer akin to hoping you will win the lottery. I get the wish but sticking your head in the sand as to the reality of this especially as to sports is crazy. Look how many in the NBA got infected. The choice will have to be made that we will risk a large percentage of the athletes getting infected and recovering because they are young and strong at the cost of infecting grandma and grandpa and those that are weak who will then sicken and die a horrible death alone in order to have our sports. The adages “youth will be served” and “survival of the fittest” come in to play. I would like to think as a country we are smart enough to realize high school sports is completely off the table as of now and no sane discussion of returning should happen until a proven vaccine is developed. I have no beef at all with this site as to content as long as it is measured with reality. My own sons are missing their high school teams and the personal esteem and accolades the were used to getting. Now they need to learn instead of yearn as to how to thrive in the coming year by being mentally strong as well as physically strong. Just getting back to some kind of classroom setting would be paradise. Playing tag can wait.

Now I know why Woods cheated so much on his wife….he was simply not listening to Elin’s expectations of fidelity, while adhering to his own expectation of having his cake and eating it too.
