(El Monte) – Mountain View High School went 0-10 last year but is looking to rebound this season by running a new offense.

“We are going to go out there and roll the dice and see where they land” said Vikings Coach James Wilson. “We are excited for next season, the great thing is we start off 0-0 just like everyone else and we are ready to show what we have.”

View has 33 seniors and 25 of them are returning from last year’s team, “He have a lot returning but none have won a varsity game, and if that doesn’t encourage them I don’t know what would,” said Wilson.

Omar Rivera, Jerry Ponce, Rafael DeReal, and Alonzo Mora will be carrying the defense. Ponce will also be helping out on offense with Kaivon Flores and quarterback Jason Calderon.
