Monrovia-San Dimas Trade Paint

By Tim Peterson

(Monrovia) – Monrovia and San Dimas scrimmaged Friday night at Monrovia in a final tune-up before the abbreviated season gets under way next Friday night.

A steady rain fell for the first 30 minutes as the two teams exchanged possessions before finally giving way to a clear sky. It was one last chance for Monrovia’s Chris Williams and San Dimas’ Mark Holman to see what they have. Monrovia kicks off the season next Friday night at Northview while San Dimas is at home against Garden Grove. Here’s a few shots.

I was happy to see our boys back on the field. I think we are a little rusty because Bassett took it to us. I thought we would have our way with a team that only won two games last year. Their facilities look pretty good for a school not known for sports.
