Clarke Steps Down at Gladstone

Gladstone Head Coach Ted Clarke

By Tim Peterson

(Covina)- Ted Clarke has stepped down as the head football coach at Gladstone after four years he confirmed Friday. Clarke tore his meniscus recently and decided to step down to get healthy.

“Perfect time to heal,” Clarke said.

Gladstone had just three games on its schedule – Sierra Vista, Duarte and Azusa and Duarte and Azusa are not expected to play.  It is still to be determined if Gladstone plays the game vs. Sierra Vista.

Something doesn’t sound right at Gladstone. Ted was posting pictures about his new football field and how excited he was about the upcoming season. Something happen and the truth will come out later.
