  1. Final Four: Houston vs. Baylor; Gonzaga vs. UCLA. 
  2. Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was clocked at 4.44 in the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day Tuesday. 
  3. Bell Gardens at Montebello, season opener for both teams, Thursday night, 7:00 p.m. 
  4. “#1 QB in the 2023 class! There’s no debate.” – COACH JD on Twitter on Warren sophomore quarterback Nico Iamaleava. 
  5. NFL owners approved the expansion of the regular season to 17 games Tuesday. 
  6. UCLA, with a 51-49 win over Michigan, advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 2008. For head coach Mick Cronin it’s his first trip to the Final Four.  
  7. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he expects its stadiums to be at full capacity for the 2021 season. 
  8. When West Covina head coach Mike Maggiore was advised that MVS staffer George Hernandez will be covering his game Friday night vs. South Hills, he replied “Sounds Good! Can he play? We need a tackle.” 
  9. Veteran NFL quarterback Colt McCoy is signing a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals. 
  10. Gonzaga is now 30-0 with the 85-66 win over USC to advance to the Final Four.
