Baylor won by doing two things incredibly well: playing a smothering man defense and grabbing the most rebounds. These are two things that don’t get a lot of attention in our offense-centered consideration of the sport. Speaking of consideration, the NBA no longer gets any from me, until it can manage to wrest itself from the grips of the woke racket. Peterson has been right all along: sports and politics should be mutually exclusive.

Clayton Kershaw was brilliant for the Dodgers Tuesday night, allowing only one run and striking out eight batters in seven innings against the Oakland A’s. That was a nice comeback from his performance on Opening Day.
The Dodgers are now 5-1 to open the 2021 MLB season. They’re picking up right where they left off last year.
