  1. Damien guard Malik Thomas became  the all-time leading scorer in school history in a 74-62 win over La Mirada Saturday. Thomas has committed to USC. 
  2. Charter Oak wide receiver Sam Mason has received his first offer from Michigan State.
  3. Former Glendora star outfielder DJ Peters made his first MLB start with the Dodgers Saturday. Peters went 0-3. 
  4. The San Diego Padres rallied from a 7-1 deficit to beat the Dodgers 8-7 in 11 innings Sunday night and take 3 out of 4 in the series at Dodger Stadium.   
  5. The Baltimore Ravens traded Pro Bowl offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs for four draft picks including a first round pick in this year’s draft. 
  6. Former Raiders defensive back Mike Davis, who played for the team from 1978-1985 in both Oakland and Los Angeles, passed away Sunday at the age of 65. 
  7. On this day in 1983 the Baltimore Colts selected Stanford quarterback John Elway with the first pick in the NFL draft. 
  8. Hall of Fame Women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey is leaving Baylor after 21 years to take over as the head coach at LSU.  
  9. San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. hit two home runs Friday night against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on the 22nd anniversary of his father Fernando Tatis hitting two grand slams in the same inning for the St. Louis Cardinals at Dodger Stadium.    
  10. 2021 NFL Draft: April 29- May 1.
