What is happening already is that some walk-ons charge each kid 1000-1500$ to play football plus a ton of mandatory fund raisers. Coaches feel entitled to pocket this money and admins look the other way because they know stipends are about as valuable as the filthy penny lying in the gutter. Let the coaches suck their pay out of the kids and parents. No harm no foul.

The Associated Press and USA Today Sports are reporting that Albert Pujols will sign a major-league contract with the Dodgers in a matter of days.
The Dodgers apparently intend to use Pujols as a right-handed pinch-hitter and part-time first baseman. The bulk of his pay for the rest of the 2021 season would come from his former team, the Angels.

Who wants to play for a Joe Blow? I guess the same guys who want to be ruled by a Joe Biden. Seriously, let’s consider that it costs money for a parent to have a kid playing sports, and money is one thing everybody has less of these days. Speaking of having less money, I imagine many of the coaches who are quitting HAVE to go do something else that pays better, again because of the economic picture. So yeah, those of us who have survived this plague have the privilege of living in a dead world. Whose fault is that? I blame Joe Blow.

With socal football listing 56 coaching changes in the last several weeks and with passing and big man tourneys starting up in a few weeks plus many openings are not as yet listed something smells bad. Every day more coaches quitting football. Is it the crappy pay, too few kids want to get their bells rung, are schools dropping football, too much hassle from parents and admins? An HC football coach is no longer the respected position it once was but is now a minimum wage job for someone from the streets. Who wants to play for a Joe Blow?
