  2. The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets 86-83 Thursday night in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. Brooklyn leads the series 2-1. 
  3. Oklahoma beat Florida State 5-1 Thursday to win the Women’s Softball College World Series title. 
  4. “I felt we quit tonight, which is something you never want to see.” – Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone on Denver’s 123-98 loss to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semi Finals. 
  5. Miami Heat president Pat Riley was fined $25,000 for tampering over comments made about Lakers star LeBron James. 
  6. Thousand Oaks at San Dimas, CIF Division 2 Baseball Quarter Finals; Friday 3:15 p.m. 
  7. Rolling Hills Prep’s 67-56 CIF Title clinching win over Los Altos Wednesday night was its fourth Boys Basketball CIF Championship since 2017. 
  8. LeBron James will change his Lakers jersey number to 6 next season. 
  9. Glendora beat Marina 53-50 Thursday night to win the CIF Division 3A Boys Basketball championship.  
  10. San Dimas fell to Ayala 57-54 Thursday night in the CIF Division 3A Girls Basketball Finals.

    @ Tank: Come on, man. You ought to be able to do better than that. Criticize LeBron James all you want, but there’s absolutely no need to resort to racial stereotypes. And, yeah, I know that the Chinese government has a lousy human rights record.
