The Raiders then announced they had released Ruggs Tuesday night.
  4. Inglewood quarterback Justyn Martin threw 13 touchdown passes in a 106-0 rout of Morningside last Friday night.
  5. Former Red Sox player and longtime commentator Jerry Remy passed away at the age of 68.
