  1. The Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 Sunday in the NFC Championship game and will play the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday February 13. 
  2. The Bengals beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime in the AFC Championship game Sunday.  
  3. ESPN reported Saturday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady retired after 22 seasons. But Tom Brady Sr. also told ESPN on a text later that “Tom had made no such determination.” 
  4. The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire New England Patriots OC Josh McDaniels as their new head coach. 
  5. The Minnesota Vikings have had conversations with Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh about their head coaching vacancy. 
  6. The Rams snapped a six-game losing streak to the 49ers dating back three years with the win Sunday. 
  7. Former Bonita quarterback JP Andrade, who was previously at Ohio State, has been offered to play quarterback for Deion Sanders at Jackson State. 
  8. Former USC quarterback Jaxson Dart has transferred to Mississippi. 
  9. Monrovia wide receiver Jaylen Moore has received an offer from Colorado State. 
  10. The Bengals overcame an 18-point deficit to beat the Chiefs and the Rams erased a 10-point deficit to defeat the 49ers.

    @ Super Sunday: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by quarterback Tom Brady, won last year’s Super Bowl in their home stadium.

    Sierra High School quarterback E. Tooter Moosefoot has transfered from Cal State Northridge to Alabama.

    To me, these conference championship games are always better football than the Superbowl, probably due to the lesser amount of hype and showbiz that goes along with them. Having two games of the caliber that we saw yesterday is simply amazing. Now, for the first time, a team will play in a Superbowl in its home stadium…in Los Angeles. That makes us happy, but people in other cities are yawning, so the conference title games are still the thing.
