  1. The Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-3 Thursday night in the home opener. 
  2. The Green Bay Packers signed wide receiver Sammy Watkins to a one-year, $4 million deal. 
  3. Dodgers’ pitcher Clayton Kershaw said it was the “right decision” to remove him from the game after he threw seven perfect innings Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins. 
  4. Three separate lawsuits were filed earlier this week claiming excessive violence by Dodger Stadium security personnel towards fans during the 2021 season. 
  5. April 15th is Jackie Robinson Day. 
  6. “Not even if I had a broken arm and had to roll the ball over the plate am I leaving a perfect game in the 7th.” – Former MLB pitcher Ferguson Jenkins on Twitter regarding Clayton Kershaw’s removal from a perfect game on Wednesday. 
  7. Longtime ESPN college basketball analyst Dick Vitale said on Thursday that he’s cancer free. 
  8. The Las Vegas Raiders signed quarterback Derek Carr to a three-year, $121.5 million extension. 
  9. Former USC/ Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is transferring to West Virginia. 
  10. Former Lakers guard Michael Cooper turns 66 today.

    He was at the same HS all 4 years, there’s dudes that are on HS #5 by junior year.
