- Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney, 25, was killed in a car accident in Dallas early Monday morning.
- This will be the second meeting between the Warriors and the Celtics in the NBA Finals. In 1964 Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics beat Wilt Chamberlain and the San Francisco Warriors in five games. Chamberlain averaged 29 points and 27 rebounds per game. Russell averaged 11 and 25.
- Roger Clemens’ son Kody Clemens made his MLB debut Tuesday for the Detroit Tigers against the Minnesota Twins. Clemens, a third round pick in the 2018 amateur draft, started at second base and went 0 for 3 with a walk.
- The Cardinals signed former Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrell Williams to a one-year contract.
- The Cleveland Cavaliers signed former Lakers/ Sacramento Kings head coach Luke Walton as an assistant coach.
- LAFC is set to sign Italy legend Giorgio Chiellini to a contract this week. Chiellini has been with Juventus since 2004.
