  1. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney, 25, was killed in a car accident in Dallas early Monday morning. 
  2. This will be the second meeting between the Warriors and the Celtics in the NBA Finals. In 1964 Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics beat Wilt Chamberlain and the San Francisco Warriors in five games. Chamberlain averaged 29 points and 27 rebounds per game. Russell averaged 11 and 25. 
  3. Roger Clemens’ son Kody Clemens made his MLB debut Tuesday for the Detroit Tigers against the Minnesota Twins. Clemens, a third round pick in the 2018 amateur draft, started at second base and went 0 for 3 with a walk. 
  4. The Cardinals signed former Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrell Williams to a one-year contract. 
  5. The Cleveland Cavaliers signed former Lakers/ Sacramento Kings head coach Luke Walton as an assistant coach. 
  6. LAFC is set to sign Italy legend Giorgio Chiellini to a contract this week. Chiellini has been with Juventus since 2004. 
  7. The West Covina Linemen Comp, the SGV Shootout, the Bonita Air Assault, and the Glendale 7 on 7 Tournament are all set for Saturday June 25. 
  8. “Terrible decision by Jimmy Buckets. Not a transition pull up 3 shooter. Hesitate and get to the basket.” – Bishop Amat assistant football coach Travis Brown on Twitter on Jimmy Butler’s decision to pull up for a three point shot late in the fourth quarter of Miami’s Game 7 loss to Boston. 
  9. Temple City will host Temescal Canyon Wednesday in the softball DII Regional Semi Finals. 
  10. On this day in 1975 the Angels Nolan Ryan threw his fourth career no-hitter in a 1-0 win over the Baltimore Orioles.

    Seems like the average lifespan for an NFL’er is around 45. Do you think banging your head against a wall full blast for 15 years may have something to do with it. Another young NFL’er was found dead in his room yesterday.
