(San Marino) – San Marino has hired Nate Turner as its new head football coach the school announced Friday. Turner was most recently the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at West LA College.
Turner takes over for Raymond Torres who stepped down after the season. The Titans went 5-6 last year and lost in the first round of the CIF Division 2 playoffs to Arroyo 28-0.

With a resume like that, what’s the attraction of SM? Probably the financial security of a teaching position, and/or a favorable location relative to his residence.
