How can a series have so many dogs mixed in with so many beauties? The Bulls-Celts  yesterday was amazing as it went double overtime…but was such a dog in game three…tough to figure…must be the NBA…

From the hair to the whiny look, this dude has been bugging me since before Florida went on its NCAA run…However, yesterday 12 Pts 10 Reb and some great defensive plays confirmed his talent…

  Remember way back when, when everyone assumed the Lakers would be facing the dangerous Portland Trailblazers? And what a struggle it was going to be up in Rip City?

  Rosemead’s Matt Koffler wants to know if I’m still picking Arroyo in the Mission Valley League later this fall…My response is I never pick a league winner until after week ten…This is Peterson’s Law Number One: “Never pick a winner in print until after the outcome has been decided…”

  I subscribe wholly to this theory.

  In baseball Alhambra is still up by a game over Montebello. The two schools, the cream of the Almont, close out the regular season against each other with two games. The Oilers won the previous meeting 2-1…

  The MVL’s top teams Gabrielino and South El Monte face off this Wednesday with first place on the line and then close the season out against each other May 15th…Gabrielino’s only loss in league was to the Southmen…
