  1. The Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 21-20 Sunday to finish the regular season 10-7. 
  2. Rams receiver Puka Nacua broke the NFL rookie record for yards and catches in a season in the win over the 49ers. 
  3. Former USC quarterback Malachi Nelson has transferred to Boise State. 
  4. NFL Playoffs – NFC: #7 Green Bay at #2 Dallas; #6 Rams at #3 Detroit; #5 Philadelphia at #4 Tampa Bay. Bye-San Francisco. AFC: #5 Cleveland at #4 Houston; #6 Miami at #3 Kansas City; #7 Pittsburgh at #2 Buffalo. Bye-Baltimore. 
  5. The Jacksonville Jaguars were 8-3 after 11 games and missed the playoffs losing five of their last six games. 
  6. The Atlanta Falcons fired head coach Arthur Smith Sunday night. The Falcons finished the season 7-10 overall after a 48-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints Sunday.

  9. The Arcadia Boys basketball team is 11-5 overall (5-0 in the Pacific League) after beating Pasadena and Muir on consecutive nights last week. 
  10. The Dodgers signed outfielder Teoscar Hernandez to a one-year $23.5 million contract. Hernandez hit 26 home runs and had 93 RBI for the Seattle Mariners last year.
