- The Chargers are releasing receiver Mike Williams. The move will save the Chargers $20 million against their cap and Williams becomes a free agent.
- After acquiring running back Joe Mixon from the Cincinnati Bengals for a seventh-round draft pick in 2024 the Houston Texans signed Mixon to a three-year, $27 million deal Thursday.
- The Seattle Seahawks acquired quarterback Sam Howell from the Washington Commanders on Thursday. Howell will be the backup to Geno Smith.
- The Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a two-year, $25 million deal with quarterback Gardner Minshew. Minshew started 13 games for the Indianapolis Colts last year and threw for 3,505 yards and 15 touchdowns.
- USC and UCLA were both knocked out of the Men’s College Basketball Pac-12 Tournament Thursday. The Trojans fell to Arizona 70-49 while Oregon beat the Bruins 68-66.
