  3. Kevin Oberlander has stepped down as the head football coach at Sonora after five years.
  4. The Atlanta Braves’ Chris Sale won the NL Cy Young Award. Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers won the AL Cy Young Award. 
  5. The Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani won the NL MVP Award. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees won the AL MVP.
  6. Northview has scheduled La Habra for the 2025 football season. 
  7. #5 Indiana at #2 Ohio State, Saturday 9:00 a.m. FOX. 
  8. The Philadelphia 76ers have the worst record in the NBA at 2-12.
