  1. Former MLB star/ Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson passed away Friday at the age of 65. 
  2. Henderson, who played until the age of 44, owns the all-time stolen base record with 1,406 and has the most stolen bases in a season with 130 in 1982. Henderson also is the all-time leader in runs scored with 2,295 and is second in walks to Barry Bonds with 2,190. 
  3. Henderson won a World Series title with the Oakland A’s in 1989 and with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1993.

  5. The Rams beat the New York Jets 19-9 Sunday to improve to 9-6 on the year and are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC West.
  6. Former UCLA quarterback Justyn Martin entered the transfer portal and has committed to Maryland. 
  7. The New York Yankees signed first baseman Paul Goldschmidt to a one-year, $12.5 million deal.
  8. Jayden Daniels completed 24 of 39 for 258 yards and five touchdowns and also ran for 81 yards to lead the Washington Commanders to a 36-33 win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday. 
  9. The Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings are tied for first place in the NFC North at 13-2 with two games remaining. 
  10. Henderson, even in his early sixties, believed he could still play in the majors if another team would give him a chance. “We would sit there over breakfast, and he would watch the TV. And he would see how much today’s players were making – and he would look at their stats and say, ‘I can do that,'” said his wife Pamela Henderson.
