@ Joe: The Dodgers have almost always been my number one team. But, I started following the A’s in 1971, when they first burst into the forefront of the AL West with a team that included Vida Blue, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Reggie Jackson, and Sal Bando.
The A’s were a good team with colorful uniforms and personalities to match. For a long time, they were a fun American League team to follow, especially since our Angels did poorly more often than not.

I am all over those games. Its 11 exits away from the house.
Rooker will bat .330-40-120 on any real good Organization.
    They systematically gave away EVERYONE!🤯🤬
I have covered the A’s for years and I couldnt be more bored with this Club.
Owner is taking League money and tanking his team. Langeliers has potential but hasnt showed consistent results.
I dont see any real attempt to make the A’s a contending club.
    Its heartbreaking.

Hopefully, the fans who attend games at Sutter Health Park over the next three seasons will be watching one minor-league baseball team instead of two. (The Athletics’ AAA team will still be playing there, right?)
I also hope that the A’s can average more than 10,000 fans a game; I believe that getting off to a good start will be a key factor for them in both the standings and the box office.
It looks like the A’s will be building their lineup around an excellent designated hitter, and the team needs to improve its on-base percentage to something a little closer to .365 than to .301. Throw in some good pitching, and the A’s might be able to escape the AL West cellar.

Joe T.: Are you an A’s fan Ron? I know a few, but not too many.
