- The Rams signed quarterback Matthew Stafford to a restructured deal. They also signed offensive tackle Alaric Jackson to a three-year, $57 million contract.
- The Washington Commanders acquired receiver Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers for a fifth-round draft pick.
- Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden ran a 4.29 40 at the NFL combine, the fastest time among the receivers that were tested Saturday.
- The USC women beat UCLA 80-67 Saturday to clinch the Big Ten title. JuJu Watkins scored 30 points to lead the Trojans who won their first conference title since 1994.
- Arroyo, which won the CIF Division 5A Boys Basketball championship with a win over Rosemead Friday night, has been without a gym since last February as it has been going through reconstruction. The Knights had to practice outside all year and had to play all of their games on the road.
