- Baseball: With a 6-3 win over Arcadia Tuesday Burroughs is 9-0 in the Pacific League while Arcadia dropped to 8-1. Crescenta Valley beat Pasadena 11-0 Tuesday and is also 9-0 in the Pacific.
- NBA Playoffs: The Clippers will host the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night in a Western Conference play-in game. The Lakers will play the Houston Rockets in a best of seven series. Game 1 is Saturday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
- Las Vegas Raiders general manager John Spytek indicated that they have “gotten a few calls” about trading their number one pick in the NFL draft.
- Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is expected to be out at least a month with an adductor strain.

- Baseball: La Canada is in first place in the Rio Hondo League with a 6-1 record. Monrovia is second at 5-1.
- Former Tennessee Titans assistant coach/ Arizona Cardinals head coach Dave McGinnis passed away Monday at the age of 74. McGinnis coached in the NFL for 40 years – 1986 to 2016 – and also had stints with the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis/ Los Angeles Rams.
- There is no update on the injury status of Lakers stars Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves or their availability for the playoffs. “They’re out indefinitely. I’m not going to have an update for you this week,” said Lakers coach JJ Redick.
- On this date in 1947 Jackie Robinson became the first African American to play in Major League Baseball when he suited up for the Brooklyn Dodgers.
- The NFL Draft will take place April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
