(San Gabriel) – Ray Torres has been named the new head football coach at San Gabriel it was confirmed Friday.
Torres takes over for Marcus Galan who resigned after two years at the helm. Torres has had several coaching stops including a recent stint at Glendale College as an assistant.
Please bring back the Blue helmets and get rid of the black uniforms.
He is long time Cathedral player QB , and QB coach /OC. He was head coach at San Marino 21-22 with 8-12 record and a first round playoff loss in two years. One nice win vs good South Pasadena squad .
San Marino immediately improved when Turner came in and they jumped up two Divisions and got as many wins in one year as Torres did in 2.
Seems about right for SG
Exactly . Who is this guy and who does he know?
Don’t know the guy so I’ll zip it until the season starts.
