  1. The Colorado Rockies fired manager Bud Black after a 21-0 loss to the San Diego Padres Saturday night. The Rockies are 7-33 through the first 40 games. 
  2. The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Denver Nuggets 92-87 Sunday to even the Western Conference Semi-Finals at 2-2. 
  3. The Boston Celtics beat the New York Knicks 115-93 Saturday. The Knicks still lead the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals 2-1.  
  4. New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr announced his retirement after an 11-year NFL career. Carr spent the first nine years of his career with Raiders. 
  5. The Raiders signed veteran linebacker Jaylin Smith. Smith last played for the Raiders in 2023 but did not play last season. 
  6. The Charter Oak 7 v 7 passing Tournament is this Saturday May 17. 
  7. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed first-round pick wide receiver Emeka Egbuka to a four-year, $18.1 million deal. 
  8. The Mark Keppel “Let it Fly” 7 v 7 Tournament is set for June 21. 
  9. The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-109 Sunday to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. 
  10. The Dodgers have the best record in baseball at 27-14.

    I’m glad Carr has decided to retire ( his game retired a few years ago)
