1. Dodgers lost to the New York Mets 3-1 Sunday and lost two out of three in the series in New York.  
2. The New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 106-100 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals Sunday night. Indiana still leads the series 2-1.    
3. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 143-101 Saturday night in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Oklahoma City still leads the series 2-1. 
4. Alex Palou won the Indianapolis 500 Sunday. 
5. The Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani faced hitters for the first time in nearly two years in a live batting practice at Citi Field Sunday. Ohtani threw 22 pitches overall.   
6. Downey receiver Cam Vasquez has committed to Fresno State. 
7. Four-star USC commit cornerback R.J. Sermons, ESPN’s No. 28 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle, has reclassified into the 2025 cycle and will join the Trojans program this summer, he announced Friday.
8. Sportscaster Brent Musburger, who still currently works for VSIN in Las Vegas, turns 86 today.
