  1. After losing seven straight games the Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants Saturday and Sunday to take two out of three in the series. They head into the All-Star game 5.5 games ahead of the San Diego Padres in the NL West. 
  2. The MLB All-Star game is set for Tuesday at 5:00 PM on Fox.  
  3. The Washington Nationals selected shortstop Eli Willits from Fort Cobb-Broxton High School in Oklahoma with the number one overall pick in the MLB draft.
  4. The Dallas Mavericks have shut down number one overall pick Cooper Flagg for the summer. 
  5. Jannik Skinner defeated Carlos Alcarez in four sets Sunday to win his first Wimbledon championship Sunday. 
  6. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh announced his retirement Saturday after playing 12 seasons in the NFL. He was out of football for the last two seasons.
  7. After a 4-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday the Boston Red Sox have won 10 straight games. Boston is in third place in the NL East, 3 games behind the first place Toronto Blue Jays.
  8. Mission Viejo won the Battle of the Beach Tournament. 
  9. San Juan Hills won the Ocean View Tournament. 
  10. Tustin, which beat Bishop Amat in the Final to win the Azusa Tournament, will face Damien on the road in Week 3.
