  1. The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 Monday night to win the ALCS in seven games.
  2. Monday Night Football results: Detroit 24 Tampa Bay 9; Seattle 27 Houston 19.
  3. Defensive End Brandon Graham has decided to come out of retirement and join the Philadelphia Eagles. Graham, who retired after last season, was the longest tenured player in Eagles’ history and will be suiting up for his 16th season.
  4. The World Series starts Friday. Game 1: Dodgers at Toronto, 5:00 PM, FOX.
  5. The Lakers lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-109 to open the 2025-’26 NBA season Tuesday night.
  6. An “aftermarket” signed 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card has sold in a private sale via Goldin Auctions for $2.7 million which is a record paid for a card with an “aftermarket” signature.
  7. The Angels hired Kurt Suzuki as their new manager Tuesday. Suzuki, a longtime MLB catcher, spent the last three years as a special assistant to Angels GM Perry Minasian.
  8. Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers said he wants to be traded by the November 4 trade deadline.
  9. AP College Basketball preseason Top 5: 1. Purdue 2. Houston 3. Florida 4. UConn 5. St. John’s. UCLA is 12th.
  10. The World Series schedule is 2-3-2: 2 at Toronto, 3 at Los Angeles, 2 at Toronto.

    whats the big deal about gambling. Just bet against the team that you think is taking a dive. And they have been cheating at Poker since it was invented. Plus look at all the cash govs are getting on Lotto. The fix is in on most games and gaming.

    Seattle really choked badly! Unbelievable that they win games 1+2, in Canada, and fade out when it counted. Even though they are a division rival of the A’s (my team😎), watching Cal and the Mariners play this season has been a fun time.

    #10 Dodgers finally got healthy at the right time. Starting pitching is lights out, bullpen has settled down, hitting is contagious and Kike, Max and Edmond are the “bug” everyone is catching. Dodgers in 5.
