  1. Miami beat Ole Miss 31-27 Thursday night in the College Football Playoff Semi-Final at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.
  2. The Miami Dolphins fired head coach Mike McDaniel Thursday after four seasons.
  3. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard Thursday.
  4. The 3rd and Long 7v7 and 5v5 Spring League will take place from March 29 – May 2. The league will consist of 16 teams. Contact Baldwin Park head coach Robert Maxie if interested.
  5. The Atlanta Hawks traded guard Trae Young to the Washington Wizards Wednesday for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert.
  6. Michigan State quarterback Aiden Chiles, who played his high school ball at Downey, is transferring to Northwestern.
  7. Washington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested in Cleveland Wednesday on possible weapons charges.
  8. Former Florida quarterback DJ Lagway is transferring to Baylor.
  9. The Colorado Rockies signed right-hander Michael Lorenzen to a one-year, $8 million contract Wednesday.
  10. Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese, who is considered a Top-5 pick, has declared for the NFL draft.

    6) Aiden will do very well at Northwestern with an offense more suited to his game .

    4) Serious question: 5v5 is lineman competition? Or 8 man teams ?
    Seems early for linemen competition, how many 1on1s can you do without pads ?
